Premier League outfit Leeds United are on the trail of Stoke City left-back Josh Tymon ahead of the winter transfer window. This is according to the English publication LeedsLive.
Marcelo Bielsa is the Leeds United and he’s keen to strengthen the left side of his defence. Leeds United signedJunior Firpo from Spanish La Liga side Barcelona for the left-back position and he recently returned to the Leeds United squad after a few weeks out due to injury.
22-year-old Stoke City star Tymon is a utility player as he can play as a wing back, as aleft midfielder or as a left-back.Tymon could provide an healthy competition for Firpo if Leeds United make a move for him.
Leeds United have struggled with injuries this season and that’s one of the main reasons why they are in the bottom six on the Premier League table after15 games. The Whites have 16 points from those matches. Leeds United are in 15th spot due to a better goal difference in comparison with Southampton who have the same points and are inĀ 16th spot on the log.
The Whites missed star striker Patrick Bamford and star defender Luke Aylingdue to injury for several weeks of Premier League football and that affected their output. The two players made their return to the Leeds United squad during their last league game, at home to London club Brentford.
